Amy Matheson

Amy Matheson is a strong and vocal advocate for Canadian farmers, she is very passionate about our food and the people who produce it. Her rural roots run deep as the granddaughter and daughter of dairy farmers, and part of a 4th generation dairy farm along with her husband, their three children and her in-laws. Amy is also a firm believer in the power of a good book, a long run, the right shade of lip-gloss, and a pair of high heels.

Amy encourages people to seek out information about where their food comes from, from farmers themselves, and encourages others in agriculture to stand up and be proud of the work they do, and to put a face to the farm.
